Direct Access has worked with Sport Wales to complete Accessibility Audits of Sport Wales National Centre in Sophia Gardens, Cardiff. Established in 1972, it is the national sport centre for Wales. The site is the home international venue for Welsh Hockey. Other national teams training at the Centre include the Wales National Rugby Team, Wales National Badminton Team, the Wales national netball team and the Wales National Gymnastic Team.
In Canolfan Cenedlaethol Chwaraeon Dŵr (the National Watersports Centre) at Plas Menai, North Wales, Direct Access audited the purpose-built facility on the Menai Strait providing accessibility to various water sports.
Accessibility at Horniman Museum and Gardens
The Horniman Museum and Gardens in Forest Hill, South London appointed Direct Access as the Access Consultants for the £8.9m Nature + Love redevelopment.
