Two new Access Consultants have joined the Direct Access team this month. These are both new posts following strong increases in client referrals.
Sophie (pictured, left) is a qualified teacher with significant special educational needs experience. She will be our dedicated education Access Consultant working with schools and colleges to undertake audits and develop accessibility plans meeting OFSTED and DFE requirements.
Karen (pictured, right) has worked for an Architectural firm for several years gaining an interest in accessibility. Completing her CAE programme, she is now working on a variety of projects including museums, railway and commercial offices.
Another newcomer is social media executive Michael, who joined the team after graduating with a first-class honours degree in Media and Writing from the University of Bolton. Michael had previously contributed to many Direct Access projects, including directing our Evacuation Chair launch video and curating our newsletters and websites.
